This year’s festival is going to be the biggest and brightest one, yet. The event was created by Silicon Valley business owners, patrons of the arts, and avid film-lovers, Bill Hargreaves and Sinohui Hinojosa as a forum for filmmakers worldwide to express themselves through the art of the short. WebEnertia got to work closely with Bill and Sinohui to develop the promotional tools for this year’s event.
We started by redesigning the festival’s logo, developing the tagline — Short Films. Big Ideas. — and developing impactful visuals for the concept. We came up with a creative, yet simple iconic representation of the tagline featuring a light bulb with a film camera as the filament. By carrying these elements across a number of touch points including posters, print ads, digital signage, and movie trailers for the event, we made some big short film impact of our own.
When the festival opens on October 9th, everyone is going to get a clear look at the quality, ingenuity and awesomeness of short filmmaking today. We can’t wait to see it all come together at the event. In the meantime be on the lookout for all the WebEnertia work showing around town.
