Job Overview:
WebEnertia is seeking a graphic design
intern that is creative and self-motivated, who likes to
challenge and inspire him/herself,
us and
our clients. The candidate will be in our fast paced and team
oriented environment, working on real projects during
the term of the internship.
The graphic design intern will assist in creating, editing and
producing layouts and artwork for both web and print delivery. As
the intern's skills grow, so will the complexity of the projects
assigned.
Upon completion of this internship, the candidate will have solid
working knowledge of what it takes to have designs ready for delivery
on print and the web, and will have worked on a wide variety of
projects for our clients, ranging from Fortune 500 companies to
small businesses.
Qualifications:
* Formal education, classes
or relevant experience in graphic design
* Intermediate experience with Adobe Photoshop,
Illustrator - be prepared to show portfolio, school work is ok
* Experience with HTML a big plus
* Experience with FLASH a plus, but not necessary
* Proficient in Microsoft Office products
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Detail oriented
